Headquartered in Stockholm, Oscar Magnuson Spectacles was founded by its namesake in 2006.
Contemporary art, design, fashion and music are all influential on Oscar Magnuson’s expression. ”My style of design is an ever-evolving result of the impressions in my surroundings and of the many years of experience as a designer”, he says.
The OM collection is defined by its expressive yet pure and balanced design and subtle palette of monochrome colours. All frames, made from eco-friendly acetate, are handmade by highly skilled craftspeople who carry out the many stages of the production in the company’s Italian factory. Sunglasses are fitted with premium high precision optical glass lenses.

Where can I buy Oscar Magnuson in Vienna?
At Hartmann Wien, Singerstraße 8 (entrance Liliengasse), 1010 Vienna, a few steps from St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Book an appointment and we’ll take time for your fitting and have the current selection ready for you.
Can I wear Oscar Magnuson with my prescription?
Yes. Oscar Magnuson makes optical frames, which we fit with lenses in your prescription, based on our biometric vision analysis if you wish. Whether a pair of sunglasses can take prescription lenses, we’re happy to check model by model.
Where are the frames made?
They are designed in Stockholm and made by hand at the company’s own factory in Italy. The leather cases come from a Swedish tannery.
What lenses do the sunglasses have?
